SPACIOUS COPENHAGEN
is a nomadic exhibition platform focusing on contemporary art jewellery and holloware as well as collaborative exhibition projects with other arts, crafts and design creatives. The platform aims to question and actively extend the borders within the praxis of art jewellery and nurture collaborative culture. Currently Spacious Copenhagen disseminates its projects and artists online and through pop-up exhibitions to both an international and local audience.
Spacious Copenhagen is founded and driven by artist and curator Annette Dam.
ANNETTE DAM
Jewellery artist Annette Dam is educated in Norway from the Oslo National Academy of Arts with a MA from the Department of Metal. Annette now lives and works in Copenhagen, focusing on producing exhibitions and unique works from her own workshop. Her work has been widely exhibited both in Denmark and internationally and she has been awarded several prizes. Her artistic practice consists of, among other things, turning abstract ideas into portable jewelry narratives, in a universe where duality, reflective layers, craftsmanship and aesthetic representations exists side by side each other.
